Created by Noah Hawley, known for FX's Fargo, the upcoming Alien series is set two years before the original film and follows a group of soldiers who come face-to-face with a Xenomorph after a spacecraft crash-lands on Earth. Other than Olyphant, Alien: Earth's cast also includes Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Kit Young, and more. During the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday night, FX Networks aired a commercial featuring new footage from Alien: Earth and other series coming soon to Hulu. Accompanied by voiceover saying, "When the monsters come, all you can do -- is scream," the footage features the first look at Timothy Olyphant's mystery character and a Xenomorph attacking an unknown character.
