The Twilight Saga movie series ran from 2008 through 2012, and nothing else from the franchise has been seen since, aside from several new books that Meyer wrote, which act more as companions or reimaginings than an actual continuation of the story. Despite that, Twilight has remained on the periphery of pop culture, for better and for worse, but the core love for the franchise has never quite disappeared.
