Though Wanda's character saw more expansion through releases like WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, there's still plenty of ground left uncovered - especially for Marvel Zombies, which is able to focus on a different Marvel universe altogether. Having a Wanda variant in the Marvel Zombies show will also allow Olsen to do something different from what she has done previously in the MCU. Even though Marvel Zombies is only a handful of episodes, the decision to involve Elizabeth Olsen in the story is both one that bodes well for the series, and one that is promising in terms of considering a potential live-action return for Scarlet Witch also.
