One of the latest additions to the trend of reboots and long-awaited sequels is the Final Destination franchise, which ended in 2011 with the surprise prequel Final Destination 5. The sixth movie, directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, will follow the same premise as the previous movies, but with a twist to Death’s rules. Final Destination Bloodlines follows Stefani (Kaitlyn Santa Juana), a college student who begins to be haunted by nightmares about her family’s deaths. Stefani returns home to ask her grandmother, Iris (Gabrielle Rose), for help, as she went through something similar in the 1960s. Iris had a vision of a deadly disaster and saved many people, but now Death is coming for the survivors’ descendants.
