Released in 2022, Matt Reeves' The Batman debuted Robert Pattinson as a brand-new version of The Dark Knight early in his vigilante career. However, Andy Serkis is hoping for some greater exploration into Alfred Pennyworth's relationship with Bruce Wayne in this version of Gotham (flaws and all). Unfortunately, numerous delays have meant that The Batman - Part II will not be released until 2027, almost five years after the first movie's release. This means that very few actors from the first movie haven't yet seen the script for the upcoming sequel.
