Dozens of people are feared injured after a car ploughed at high speed through packed crowds in Liverpool, where thousands had gathered to Liverpool football clubs’s parade through the city following their victory in the Premier League. Merseyside Police have arrested a 53-year-old white British man, believed to be the driver of the vehicle. The Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the scenes as “appalling” and has thanked the emergency services for their swift response.
