This seventh installment in the action-packed dinosaur franchise serves as a soft reboot and sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022). Directed by Gareth Edwards, known for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the film centers on a covert mission to the original Jurassic Park research facility—where a team aims to retrieve dinosaur DNA crucial for a life-saving drug. The ensemble cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey. Jurassic World Rebirth is set to release in theaters on July 2, 2025. New promotional merchandise for Jurassic World Rebirth showcases the new velociraptor design (via TheDirect). As seen on a foil mylar balloon advertised by LA Balloons (below), the new design depicts a more intimidating predator, featuring defined ridges on its skull, pronounced facial markings, bright coloration, beadier eyes, and quills adorning the back of its head and neck.
