The UN's humanitarian chief, Tom Fletcher, has said 14,000 babies could die in Gaza in the next 48 hours if more aid doesn't reach them. Israel ended an 11-week blockade on aid entering Gaza on Monday, but Tom Fletcher says only five lorries got in, and teh aid hasn’t reached anyone yet. Overnight, Israeli air strikes on Gaza killed at least 38 people in half an hour, according to Palestinian medics. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "the war can end tomorrow" if Hamas releases its hostages and lays down arms - some 58 hostages remain in Gaza, up to 23 are believed to be alive.
